Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil is often touted as the cure for everything...it is not but it can helpful for some conditions.

Coconut oil in moderation is an appropriate inclusion in your dogs diet. Fresh food feeding is based on feeding a variety of foods on rotation and this includes coconut oil, it does not need to be fed every day, just every now and then on rotation is perfectly fine if you choose to feed it at all.

If you would like to give Coconut oil, buy the best quality one you can find, it should be cold pressed to start with.

Starting amount:
Small Dogs: 1/4

Medium Dogs: 1 teaspoon

Large Dogs: 2 teaspoons

Extra Large Dogs: 1 Tablesoon

Gradually increase the amount. If your dog tolerates it well after 2 weeks, increase the amount to 1 teaspoon per 5 kilos of body weight.
